We are an independent studio where commercial software and experiments live in the same room. The apps pay attention to people. The experiments pay attention to machines. Both ship.

MCS Developers started as a software studio and grew a research habit. Today the two are hard to separate: the commercial work funds the experiments, and the experiments keep the commercial work honest.
We're independent and intend to stay that way. It means fewer projects, closer attention, and the freedom to say no to things that shouldn't be built.
